Support
Whether you need help with your account, a feature or something else, we are here for you. Below you will find answers to common questions and ways to reach us.
Contact us
The quickest way to reach us is by email at support@parentingapart.app. We aim to respond within one working day.
You can also write to us at Parenting Apart, 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
Account and sign in
If you cannot sign in, try resetting your password from the sign in screen. If you signed up with Apple or Google, make sure you are using the same method you registered with.
To update your name, email or notification preferences, open the Settings screen inside the app. To close your account, you can do so from Settings. Once closed, your access ends and your personal data is removed as described in our privacy policy.
Subscriptions and billing
Parenting Apart is free to begin. Paid subscriptions are billed through your app store account on Apple App Store or Google Play. To manage, cancel or request a refund for your subscription, visit your app store's subscription settings. We do not have access to your payment details.
Inviting your co-parent
You can invite your co-parent from the Family tab inside the app. Enter their name and email or phone number, and they will receive an invitation to join your shared workspace. If they do not yet have the app, some messages may be delivered by SMS or email until they sign up.
Message reframing
The reframe tool rewrites reactive language into something your co-parent can hear more easily. You can adjust the intensity (light, moderate or full) and choose whether to use the suggested version or keep your original. Reframing is optional and you are always in control of what gets sent.
Data and privacy
Your data belongs to you. You can export your records from the app at any time, choosing a date range and content types. Weekly reflections are private to you and never shared with your co-parent. For full details, see our privacy policy.

Parenting Apart is a coordination tool and is not an emergency service. If you or your children are in immediate danger, contact the emergency services on 999. If you have safeguarding concerns, contact the NSPCC helpline on 0808 800 5000 or your local authority.
